Portable boring and facing capability to machine valves, pumps, turbine housings and heat exchangers is performed on-site in any orientation.
Removal (undercutting) of damaged areas within small diameters and/or at large depths is a critically significant capability for integral seat and guides as well as sealing surface preparation prior to welding.
Post weld on-site machining, surface/seat grinding and lapping restores surfaces in globe, gate, non-return valves, wedges and flanges. Finish machining operations are performed from 1” to 31.5” diameters at depths up to 60”.
In-place machining with equipment specifically designed for boring, facing and re-seating valves provides the fundamental resources for superior results. There are specific challenges inherent to repairing small diameter bores or seats located deep within a valve. Similarly, large area repairs in difficult access locations require extraordinary rigging, unique fixtures and specialized equipment.
