Riggio Attends Fugitive Emissions Summit Americas

Attendance at the 2016 Fugitive Emission Summit continues Riggio commitment to maintain trained specialists, technical expertise and superior low-emission valve packing services.

Current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) of fugitive emissions present unique compliance challenges for valves currently in service. Remarkably, 62% of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions originate from valves.

Riggio is a “Factory Certified Chesterton Packing Installer”. Strict procedures and skill are necessary to examine, repair, and machine surfaces to precise tolerances that enable leakage rates no greater than 100 PPM. Proper installation and documentation by a certified installer is required for compliance.
